OUR HISTORY
THE BEGINNING
CometJet Virtual Airlines was founded on August 22, 2023. Our goal was simple: to create a vibrant, welcoming, and realistic virtual airline for pilots across the globe. Katowice International Airport (EPKT) was chosen as our headquarters, founders' local airport.
LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS
In the fall of 2023, CometJet began laying the groundwork for its success. We launched operations with a carefully curated network of routes and destinations, offering pilots a chance to explore the skies with precision and purpose. As the first wave of pilots joined our ranks, we established a close-knit community that would quickly become the core of CometJet's identity. With each new member, we worked tirelessly to refine our systems and procedures, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for all.
AFTER A YEAR
On August 22, 2024 we celebrated the anniversary of our founding with a special event for our pilots and community. It was a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, recognize the contributions of our members, and set our sights on the exciting horizons ahead. From special flights to exclusive giveaways, CometJet's birthday is a celebration of our shared journey through the virtual skies. Our events bring together virtual airlines, enthusiasts, and organizations to showcase their skills and creativity. Our inaugural VAIRSHOW not only displayed breathtaking performances but also served a meaningful purpose. Through partnerships, engaging live streams, and a shared passion for aviation, the VAIRSHOW has become a signature event that highlights the talent and dedication of the virtual flight community.
